Description
White sage (Salvia apiana) also know as bee sage or sacred sage.
Size:8 to 9 Inches
It is an evergreen perennial shrub native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, seen mainly in the coastal sage scrub habitat of Southern California and Baja California, on the western edges of the Sonoran and Mojave deserts.
Sticks of this sage are burned to cleanse and purify an area. However, it is also possible to achieve this by anointing a white candle with sage oil and burning it, or sprinkling ground sage leaves in the corners or throughout the boundary of a room.
